I Just Found Some Acoustical Goodness!

I found Fastball through Daytrotter. Love the lyrical work they put into each song. The backing music is pretty swank too, but first enjoy the lyrics. Yes, enjoy them. Enjoy!

Shy Child is another awesome indie rock/8-bit wonder. “Drop The Phone” and “Astronaut” are probably my personal favs on their MySpace. The vocals meld perfectly with the grooving beats. Yes, I said grooving beats. Enjoy!

I have no idea how I came upon the awesomeness that is Biffy Clyro. Some how it came upon me. “Mountains” is such an awesome song, go listen to it now. Yes, now. They have a new album out to so go give it a listen as well. Enjoy!

Something really strikes me about acoustic/folk music. The Tallest Man on Earth really hits this genre well with great lyrics and accompanying great guitar work. This definitely won’t appeal to most people considering the stuff I’ve been posting all along, but if you at all enjoy acoustic/folky music, this is for you. Enjoy!

Man there are some great indie bands in the UK! Kaiser Chiefs rocks! The electronic-y backups really are most especially awesome. “Never Miss A Beat” is probably my favorite so far, check it out. Enjoy!

Vampire Weekend has an awesome sound. Listen especially for the string instrumentals in “M97”. I love the work that they’ve done. Hard to describe in a post, but you will have to love them. Trust me. Enjoy!
